Just wow Feb. 20 2013
By sevendredgers - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I can't even tell you how happy I am to have bought this book. It was a project of mine to make every single recipe in a cookbook without changing any ingredients, and I picked up this one. I've made probably 30 of these so far and not one of them has failed to impress. There is a picture for every recipe which I think is essential, plus the book takes you to higher levels of taste with ingredients that the average person doesn't use without being especially costly. Definitely a lucky find, and I recommended it to all my friends.
easy fun recipe book! Jan. 22 2014

The ingredients in this book are basic and not hard to find. The recipes are easy. I love throwing stuff in a crock pot, and forgetting about it for a few hours. I've tried a few of the chicken recipes. I was happy with the results. Chicken can hey boring, but this book gives great ideas.
100 slow cooker dishes (that you have to cook in a skillet or oven first) Nov. 4 2013
By Bob McHugh - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
To me, a book of slow-cooker recipes should consist mostly of 1-pot recipes. 95% of these dishes require cooking items on a skillet or loaf pan, then transferring the items to the slow cooker afterwards. It completely defeats the purpose most people want to use a slow cooker for (the crockpot is essentially reduced to a warming device here). The recipes are competent, but almost none are optimal for slow-cooking.
