You can't go wrong with the 100 Hikes series (there are also 55 Hikes and 50 Hikes books as well). These books are Mountaineers Books usually written by Harvey Manning and/or Ira Spring. I have used the 50 Hikes in Mt Rainier National Park, 100 Hikes in the South Cascades and Olympics, as well as this book, 100 Hikes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness quite a lot. They are all great. What are you waiting for? Get out and hike!
