Short, Sweet and To the Point! Oct. 18 2004
By Liselle - Published on
Format: Paperback
This is a great book when you want a collection of short stories about vampires. It's like Readers Digest with fangs! Some are funny, like Aqua Sancta (a priest blesses his personal "water" to vanquish a vamp) and the one about the plumber who doesn't charge an arm and a leg, just blood. This is a must read for those late nights when you just gotta have a vampire fix, but don't have time for a regular vampire book!

Better then Twilight Aug. 15 2012
By Frank Whright - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I first read this book as a teenager 15 years ago and spent years trying to find it again when I lost it. Once I did a short search on Amazon, low and behold here it is again. These stories hold your imagination far better then the junk on the big screen now a days. The lettering size itself in the book is easy to read also. Its a great read for all ages.

I love this series of books Nov. 7 2013
By Chayleen Anderson - Published on
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
I was a little skeptical about buying this book at first, because I have bought similar books and the stories were a little lacking, but it arrived in great condition and well within the estimated delivery dates, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of the stories in it. I'm actually reading it again because I like it so much.

not all vampires are shaped like bats and suck your blood May 7 2015
By empress8411 - Published on
Format: Paperback
Synopsis: 100 short stories, none for than 5 pages long, center on the theme of Vampire. Tasty bite-sized morsels of prose, each devilish and chilling. But beware, not all vampires are shaped like bats and suck your blood!

Review: This is a clever little collection, although I admit, after a while, I was rather tired to the theme and ready to set the book down. That's what I get, I suppose, for trying to read all 100 in a weekend. Some stories where hum-drum, some clever, one was even funny. Only one, however, left a chill in my spine and a dread in my heart - The Witness by Mike Ashley. Creeping-ass story, if ever there was one.
Overall, this is a good collection of vampire tales, with a wide range of prose, style, story-lines and lore. I recommend to anyone interested in Vampires or the like. But don't try to read them all at once - it's gets a little tedious.
