this book has all the best songs of every era in the twentieth century and the piano vocal guitar version is well done.

I bought this after I had found it in the library when I was looking for music to play for a funeral. Every song in this book is a winner. They did a really good job choosing them. The arrangements are nice also.

I love that this has some familiar old melodies as well as the new songs. The in between years are great! I never would have thought to look for some of these songs, but I love having them at my fingertips to play and sing along. The piano is for a medium difficulty.
excellent selection July 3 2006

This book provides a song for each year of the 20th century and most, if not all, have good choices. It is the perfect addition to any pianist's library with a lot of variety. I didn't even know all of the songs in the book, so it was fun to learn them and play them.
