Replacement power cord,

This replacement power cord appears to be sold widely and for a wide variety of prices. The best price I found was on Amazon.ca. While it works very well it is important to know in advance that it is not the same as the original equipment. The ASUS version snaps into place in the computer and is difficult to dislodge. The replacement version slides into place and is easy to dislodge if you move the computer. Once you know this you can adjust by checking regularly to ensure that the power cord is still in place. Otherwise, it works as well as the original and for roughly 20% of the replacement price.

Not what I wanted, or even really what I ordered, but stuck with it...,

I received this item in good time but unfortunately it is not the item listed in the description. I have a Eee PC 1005ha, which the description indicates the power pack with fit onto. It doesn't. The plug that goes into the computer itself is far too long.Customer service from the vendor (not amazon) was ok and fairly responsive, but in no way indicated that they would change the description to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I am also unwilling to spend the $20 (CAD) to send this back to them. It is expensive to ship in Canada and the post is unreliable, the vendor also would not offer to pay for the return shipping even though the mistake was on their part. Simply put, avoid this product, avoid the vendor/seller and go elsewhere. Bad service and a bad experience all round.

I lost my charger so I was hunting around the internet for a replacement.. and this charger was the perfect match for my ASUS EEE PC 1005HA. At first I was a bit confused because the outlet plug didn't seem to fit into the standard wall outlet, but after a little bit of playing around, it fit perfectly and my dead note book is now revitalized!Very good price compared to others I've seen and gets the job done without over heating like the stock ASUS charger.
