About the Author
Mary Macaree is a long-time member of the British Columbia Mountaineering Club (BCMC). Born in Scotland, she immigrated to Canada in 1958 to teach high school and explore the outdoors. Later sh e became a librarian, and with her late husband, David, she originated four editions of both this volume and its companion,
103 Hikes in Southwestern British Columbia, which has sold over 100,000 copies. She lives in West Vancouver.
