It appears that someone is using automated reviews - could that be an agent of the company (Aspyr Media??)- The 2 reviews here are word for word identical - and, coincidentally, match, word-for-word, a review on the Amazon.com site as well. No mention of the STARTFORCE problem that is reputed to adversely affect your ability to use your CD/DVD burner and open your system up to security threats.

Pleasantly suprised with this game, it's an excellent mix of RPG, RTS elements. When one phase of play starts to get boring, I find it switched to the other. Graphics are great, music is great, and the intro movie blew me away! Had a problem with both cd keys supplied in the box, they both did not work! Emailed Aspyr tech support about it and they provided me with a new key the next day with apologies. Top notch tech support!

SpellForce is a must,

Well, I must say that I didnt expect that the game would be so great. But it is. Its the best Real Time Strategy game I have ever played.Battle For Middle-earth and Warcraft 3 are bad games compared to SpellForce. But SpellForce isnt an ordinary RTS game. It offers some RPG features. For example you can create & skill your main character and you can also loot items and gain experience points. If you play it for the first time you will see that the graphics are awesome. There is no other RTS game with the visual power as SpellForce has. Then there is the sound. Its brilliant. The sound creates a great fantasy atmosphere. The controls offer some innovations. There is the so-called Click & Fight system where you can control your units easily. In a few words: SpellForce is a must have for every RTS and RPG gamer out there.
