Pretty Good Mouse June 12 2010

This mouse was pretty much exactly what we wanted for our daughter's laptop. The only problem is that is frequently disconnects and needs to be "re-synced".
If it's characteristic of this particular model it would be nice if they'd warn you Jan. 5 2015

I don't know if it is the particular individual mouse I purchased or if all mice of this model have the same issue, but when my computer first comes on, or if it sits for more than a few minutes (such as if I'm reading or watching media online) and then I come back to use it, it has frozen up and needs to be clicked before it will wake up and start moving around again. It was disconcerting when I first started using it; I've had other wireless mice and they didn't do this. If it's characteristic of this particular model it would be nice if they'd warn you. Other than that it works great, very lightweight and easy to maneuver.

This was a gift for someone with arthritis. It works great for her and she does not have to worry about her hands locking. Good deal.
If you like it when things catch fire in your hand, this one is for you. Nov. 19 2013

I bought this mouse a couple years ago and loved it. It fits in my hand well, is pretty, and does what I need it to do without a billion extras to get in my way. The scrolling wheel eventually gave out due to heavy use (I use it way more than the average person). I replaced it with the same mouse because it was great. And that's where this all goes wrong.

I take the batteries out when transporting the mouse because they die in my purse otherwise. When I put the batteries back in I noticed a bad smell, which quickly turned into a burning smell, which quickly turned into the mouse smoking in my hand. Needless to say the mouse was burning.

So as long as you like it when your electronics catch fire in your hand you'll enjoy this product.

Great product with a few glitches. The wheel skips after using it for awhile. Goes through batteries quickly.
Not bad for the price though. I would suggest a mouse like this but with an on and off button as to not wear down batteries.
