I Wish I Had Been There Sept. 5 2014

This is a spectacular documentation of what must have been a wonderful evening of music.
The Twinemen are a fine postscript to the "low-rock" sound that was invented by their predecessor, Morphine.
But the star of the show is the incredible Orchestra Morphine…an amalgam of members of the Either/Orchestra and the Twinemen.
I have had this disc in my rotation for months now…I just can't stop listening to it, the interpretations of the great songs of Morphine keep getting better and better with each listen. The groove, the solos, the energy, are all absolutely intoxicating. And for a live cd recorded in a small venue, the sound quality is fantastic.
I wish I had been there that night, but listening to this cd is the next best thing.

Amazing homage to Mark Sandman and Morphine May 23 2013

I was lucky to see both Morphine and The Twinemen live, and I have to say that The Twinemen stand tall on their own merits. Live Cambridge 10/23/03 is a really, really good live CD.
