For the fans, this season is a good one, with all the surprises you could expect! Obviously Jack survives everything but still, the plots are good and often unexpected.

For someone who never watched the show before, this might be a bit too much of overpower from the Bauer but eh! we like it that way!

Then I would recommend starting with the first season to better understand the caracter...before it became all about overpower...

In any case, it's veeery nice entertainement!

buy it.

I have never watched a single episode of 24 until two days ago. I don't even watch dramas or cop shows in general, except for House and NCIS. I started watching Season 7 of "24" on Saturday morning and finished it on Sunday close to midnight. I didn't even expect to like it, especially with me missing season 1..6, but I did like it. In fact, I just couldn't stop watching. I'm buying seasons 1..6 and the movie now :)

The acting is great, and the script is fantastic. Lots of twists, lots of action. And each time you think it's over, the stakes just get higher.

Weird fact: producer David Fury also worked on BtVS and Angel, my favorite shows. Quite remarkable, since those are humorous SF stories and 24 is nothing of the kind.

24 season 7 is fast and furious with a bit of moral thinking but not to much and not too easy. The scenario is well done with an outcome every four or five episodes, which has put rythm in my viewing. The president and Renee are credible, humain and gorgeous each one in her way. The fact that Bauer is exposed is not a great idea for the tension...and it gives the impression that Bauer is beginning to be (too obviously)old.
The season 8 should not show a Bauer slow, recovering, and too papy.
Anyway this season 7 is a great season. Thanks to all. Michel D

As season 7 opens, CTU has been disbanded and Jack is in big trouble for his excessive use of torture. FBI needs his help to find the man responsible for new terrorist attacks; it's an old friend that Jack believed was dead.

This is a pretty good season although the first half, dealing with problems in a fictional African country, was slow, a new plot in the second half was very exciting. There are some truly wonderful elements this season that rank up there with the best of "24;" Cherry Jones plays a sensitive and capable President, Bob Gunton is great as her Chief of Staff, and James Morrison's Bill Buchanan has an unforgettable scene that left me gasping aloud. There are lots of intense twists and turns and it ends up being a very good season.

Kiefer Sutherland continues to be a charismatic super-hero, but there are so many subplots and characters that he's not given enough screen time. The setting, Washington DC, isn't as good as the old CTU, but thankfully, we get Bill and Chloe back and the lovable Agent Pierce, as well. Unfortunately, we also get Kim back.

It's hard to maintain the high level of writing and acting that "24" has set, but this season deserves an A-.

I already have purchased the rest of the 24 seasons but never had the opportunity to buy them in blu ray. I was really surprised to find in it blue ray. Another surprise was the cost. The blu ray copy was cheaper than the regular editions. You can't do better than that. I was also very surprised at how fast the dvd arrived after I ordered it. I am one happy customer.

Excellent. a little different from the other seasons. A lot of heartache in this one. I actually cried at the end. Am looking forward to watching season 8. Kiefer Sutherland is amazing as Jack Bauer. It was good to see so many of the others in this season like Chloe and MauriceO'Brian, Bill Buchanan and Tony Almeda.

7 seasons in, Jack Bauer doesn't miss a beat. He's a one man army, and his supporting cast doesn't disappoint. Rene Walker and Jack establish great chemistry, and the twists in this season are vintage 24. Enjoy.
