Hi Everyone,I am the author and recipe creator of this book. It is full of the most delicious jams, jellies, marmalades and more! It has all the recipes of Prizewinning Preserves (c. 2001) and the Idiot's Guide (c. 2003) and I have added 125 plus new recipes...so it's 2 books in one! There are also about 25 recipes using jams, preserves with herbs, lots with liqueurs added, wine jellies, pepper jellies...lots for gift-giving! (some you may want to squirrel away for yourself!!) I had fun and played with interesting fruit combinations but all the standard recipes are there. Soon the new ones will become your favorites too! Using this book you will quickly become an expert jam and jelly maker, with prize-winning results. TIP: Be food safe...process your jars. I hope you enjoy cooking from this new book...I made it for you! Best regards, Yvonne READY, SET, JAM!

I just started canning preserves in the last few years and I wanted a book that gave me a few more ideas on flavor combinations and other types of preserving. I've used this book for about 5 different receipes and the jams are really good. The book has little tips all throughout the book that have saved me time and frustration. If there is one receipe you should buy this book for it is the Blueberry, Oragne Amaretto jam. The best jam I have ever had. Absolutely worth purchasing this book.
