The book is excelant full of action and suspence. The charactor development between John and his new love Emma Shaw and the transition in his relationship to Natalia and Sahra are interesting and thought provoking. The story also developes the secondary charactors of Tim and Ed shaw though I thought more could have been added to develope Ed as a more than passing charactor. The battle sequences were well written and understandable as well as logical and well placed instead of mearlly a fight seen to off set "the mussy stuff". Annie and Paul as in the past several books are exceptional Key charactors that are well developed into more than just John's side kicks.

Another book in the saga of John Thomas rourke and his efforts to survive in a hostile world. This novel progresses the legend and is nearing the end of the series. I enjoyed reading this series when I was younger and I appreciate that it is now available as an ebook.
