I've watched each of the previous seasons a half dozen times. Season 5 is still good comedy, but it seems to be losing the snap -the endless and overwhelming flow of wisecracks and references. I suppose the beginning of the slide was inevitable, but I had hoped that the comic genius of Fey and the cast might carry it along further.

I own the first four seasons of 30 Rock and love all of them but I watched some of season 5 on tv and it's still an okay show but now what it used to be, if the price wasn't so high I would buy it, but since it's lost some of its flair I'll wait until I can get it at a better price
