Perfect. Easy to hold, easy to use Nov. 17 2011

I dug out my old HO train set for the kids to play with. The brass track were oxidized, and I did a little research on what was the best way to clean them off and get them shiny again. One website recommended these 3M sanding sponges so I got one. It's perfect. Cleaned those tracks up perfectly, they look like new and the train is running again. The sponge is soft and easy to hold. My girls helped clean the tracks and were taking turns doing it. All in all I'm very happy with this.

Now I know why these things are so expensive... Jan. 4 2013

There are certain conditions that nothing else can come close to sanding effectively. When sanding small parts or intricate details, I start with the outside edges and corners of the pad and trim those away when they become less effective, and nothing beats these things for sanding primer on automotive projects and lasting through the whole job. A quick blow off with an air hose and they go right back to work as though new.

Countour Surface Sanding Sponge, Super Fine April 15 2012

I wouldn't be without these sanding sponges. I use them when I need to clean my pots and pans and get a nice shine on them. I also use them in various craft projects. These are indispensible to anyone who likes to keep their items in nice condition.

Great Sanding sponge May 27 2014

I've used these both to smooth between coats of urethane and to break the gloss on final coats and they work great. Very fast consistent smoothing/dulling plus they last a long time and can even be washed out when they get loaded with dust. Cost a bit more than some other brands but work better and last longer in my experience.

Excellent sanding sponge March 29 2013

This sanding sponge does exactly what it says, sanding down anything to a smooth and fine grade. The only thing it doesn't take well to is directly sanding enamel, which rubs onto the sander and can affect color on art projects.
