Product Description

RWS Airgun Scopes are equipped with Airgun Shock Reinforcement (ASR) Technology that allows the scope to handle the specific recoil of an airgun where the first kick is rearward like a firearm, followed by an additional forward kick that is unique to an airgun. Firearm scope lenses are reinforced at the front to handle the rearward kick. The lenses on an RWS Air Gun Scope are additionally reinforced at the rear to handle the second (forward) kick. ASR Technology protects the scope lenses from the unique recoil of an airgun. Features: - 7 steps of luminance brightness - MilDot Reticle - Adjustable objective - 30 mm tube - 13.5 inches in length

Terrible Scope May 27 2012

After 175 rounds, scope still would not shoot better than a 2" grouping at 10yds on a Gamo Silent Cat .22 IGT. Stock Gamo scope on the same gun, same ammo shot a 1" pattern at 85yrds within 10 shots. Attempted to return to LG Outdoors, terrible customer service, stated no exchanges despite their written exchange policy allowing exchanges for defective items and told me to call the manufacturer since its obviously not their problem. Will never buy from this seller again nor will I buy another RWS scope.

this scope was a good scope great features too. the scope fell apart though after about 100 rounds. had it on a beeman mach 12.5 22cal spring air rifle. i bought the scope because the product description clearly states that this scope is designed to handle air rifle recoil. oh well. the cross hairs now shift up and down side to side when i zoom in.

Small mammals fear it. April 25 2013

I love this scope. A lot of features for the money.

I've put about 650 rounds through my Gamo Big Cat .22 and kill what I'm shooting at, including bunnies at 75 yards.

I read the bad review about accuracy, went out on the back porch and shot at some small landscaping flags I have out for a current project: 20. 40 and 50 yards. Every flag now has a hole smack dab in the middle of it. Mind you I spent some time sighting the gun/scope in at different distances and magnifications once I installed the thing.

I also did some research prior to the purchase and found that the scope would benefit from a better set of rails than what came with the rifle, so I bought them and spent some time carefully installing them. I can't recall the brand right now, but that could be the difference between poor results and good ones. I found the rails that came with the rifle to be almost worthless and the kit scope even worse.

Mind you I have been shooting all my life and was a certified expert marksman at the age of 11. So, as for skill sets, results may vary.
