3.0 out of 5 stars No Traditional Chinese July 17 2009

Unlike the 1st book in the series - it is important to note that this book does not include Traditional Chinese characters. So if your goal is to learn Traditional Chinese - you will need to look elsewhere.

Other than that - the book is quite literally 425 worksheets where the character is listed at the top along with a brief meaning and associated pinyin. It does not teach pronunciation or grammar. So if all you want is someone to put a list of words together for you so that you can practice writing them over and over - then this book is great. But with the multitude of online resources that will list any word you want by number of strokes, popularity, etc - then the utility of this text is questionable.

It is also a very big and heavy book so it is not travel friendly.
