Wayde Compton's imaginative, deeply researched, interesting, and strange collection about what it means to be "other" in North America. If you write poetry - you'll learn heaps about how to construct poems; and if you are a reader with an interest in reading beautiful, thought-provoking pieces, this book is for you. Accessible and "experimental" don't often go hand in hand, but this book will sing for you: each page promises something joyful, even when the meaning conveys loss or great sadness. The joy comes from the pleasure of seeing words in new ways.
