Book is great. Simple to more complicated projects from small to big items. Projects are up to date involving some tradition. A good source to have and lots of great coloured pictures.

3.0 out of 5 stars The title is a little misleading March 12 2011
By Gale W - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This has some nice projects, but a lot of them require yardage beyond the 5, 10 or 15 fat quarters. If I'd been able to look at it first, I would not have bought it. Unfortunately I don't have a decent shop nearby so I have to take these chances with books.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very deceptive marketing ploy in the title March 3 2011
By QuiltingDiva - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
My daughter just bought this book and was VERY disappointed by it. While the title suggests that the projects can be completed with the given number of fat quarters, it was expected that a few things might be needed for the batting, backing, binding, and embellishments; HOWEVER, it was NOT the expectation that the projects would require the given number of fat quarters PLUS up to several yards of additional fabric (NOT intended for the backing or binding). The title is very misleading and the necessity for so many extras needed to complete a project should have been included in the book's description.

I have made two totes and the prarie-point coasters and am ready to make more!

THE PROJECTS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS I HAD HOPED. SOME OF THEM HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE FOR A WHILE. THE BOOK SEEMS TO BE A COLLECTIONS OF PAST PATTERNS. VERY DISAPOINTED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU ARE A NEW QUILTER AND CRAFTER.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5-15-5 Fat Quarters Nov. 11 2010

This book is wonderful. Even a beginner could make anyone of these projects and just because they are all made with Fat Quarters I used my scraps and no two are alike. I had as much fun reading the book as makeing the projects. Well worth the price
