comprehensive June 19 2005

This is refreshing! A successful craft artist who shares his secrets!!!

With many years' experience of my own, I was pleased to read tips and ideas that confirmed my own appraisal of craft-selling, and also very happy to learn some new tricks. This author presents his information in an easy-reading style, with humor, and lots of details that will help the beginner to plan his/her approach to marketing. There are loads of addresses, phone numbers, and links to websites that sell products useful in setting up and running a craft booth. Which makes it useful to veteran craftspeople as well. This book is certainly a worthy investment.

Needs Updating Jan. 5 2010

I didn't realize this book was so small. I expected a thicker book for $30 The author said you need to make 10 times your space rent to consider it a good show. Most shows in my area are $100 to $400 so making $4,000 over a weekend isn't likely. There is some good advice, just skip the parts that don't pertain to your business. I found this author doesn't give a full list of sources, just the ones he uses.
