I purchased it to find out what to do in our area when I get guests or even to go on nearby outings by ourselves.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems like a good book Sept. 19 2013

I bought this for my friends who recently got married as I thought it might be nice for them to do some little trips together in their first year of marriage together. I haven't heard anything from them about the book (or if they've even used it) so can't really say how useful it was, but I took a quick look through it before I gave it to them and there were some nice trips that I thought I'd be interested in going on if I had a car. Seemed like an easy to follow guide with some less-known destinations.

This book is a very good guide to walks/hikes around Vancouver. Most of them I knew about being a resident of the Vancouver area but others were a total surprise. I was thinking how could I have lived here so long and not known about this. Very informative.
