This is a must-have for NewOrder fans. Firstly, New Order don't have so much exclusive releases; secondly, the EP is quite interesting itself: besides the original '60 Miles An Hour' single content, we get two songs from the famous Reading Festival (recorded Aug. 30 1998), - and that is what makes this EP so special.

'Temptation' is as fine as always. 'True Faith' has got a remade, more updated arrangement and that's great.

My only complaint is that the remixes could be less so old-fashioned and dull.

I'm glad I bought this CD, because now I don't have to buy the other two singles from "Get Ready" - '60 Miles An Hour' and 'Someone Like You' (filled with DJs' remixes), here's everything you need from NewOrder.

I can't imagine what inspired this random collection of new material vs older live recordings of ancient material other than someone having a rather large gas bill to pay. Being the biggest newOrder fan I know, I love it though, every second. 60 MPH (radio edit) is nestled comfortably along with the Superman Lovers remix - spot on. Then we get the second version of Funk D'Void's SOMEONE LIKE YOU - lovely (all eight minutes). Toss in missing album cut, SABOTAGE (originally titled "Run This River Wild") and you're getting warm. Why this wasn't on the album, I'll never know. Classic material like this would have sealed GET READY's reputation for eternity. Live versions (Reading Festival 1998) of TRUE FAITH and TEMPTATION, although reinterpreted, leave me longing for something other by newOrder. RUN or LEAVE ME ALONE would have been a welcome change and long overdue. Otherwise, worth the entry fee and then some. I look forward to the stateside tour, the havoc that will wreck, and material it might inspire. New Order continue too toss forbidden fruit from lofty peaks. Hold your hands high.

I'm a huge New Order fan, I own all of their albums and singles, but when I saw them live a few years back when they released Republic, I couldn't believe how much they rocked on stage. When they play live, they are much "harder". I own a couple of live concert cd's and even my friends who dismmiss New Order as "Euro Weenies" are impressed by live tracks such as Temptation. Well, the two live tracks on this import are True Faith and Temptation and this EP was totally worth the import price I paid for it. If you are a true New Order fan, this is a must have. God knows when they'll release something else new after "Get Ready".
