Excellent. I read every little bit of it. Literally! It was very informative and I am currently using it to write my novel that is set in the sixties! It will be called Summer Rain. The Javna's did a wonderful job of including the best of the sixties and the worst of the sixties. They said it best: This was your life!

Like they said, "The Original Is Still The Greatest".I bought my first copy of"60s!" in 1983 with the hot pink cover.I donated it to charity about 10 years ago and I realized how much I missed having a copy in my library, so I sprung for a new copy. I would compare this book with the very first NUGGETS 2 LP set, it is truly "a holy grail of 60s culture".It covers everything that was great about the 1960s, and even though some of the information is a bit dated, it's still very relevant.This is "a must have book" for anyone who hold a torch for "The Sixties".Hopefully someday the authors will do an update, since it was really due to their book that the concept of "60s collectibles" took root. Buy this book while you can.I was truly amazed I was able to get a new unread copy of this book for less than I paid in 1983! (Amy Quist-Lake) |
