Welcome to 6teen, an animated situation comedy set entirely in a gigantic shopping mall. 6teen follows our ensemble cast of six sixteen-year-old friends as they try to make it through their first part-time jobs and life as a teen. 6teen is about the important stuff – firsts. First crushes, first jobs, first bank accounts and that first taste of freedom… but of course, not all firsts are positive. No “most embarrassing moment” in these teens’ lives will be left unturned…but through it all, our group of six best friends learn to lean on one another. FRENCH - 6teen est une série animée dont l’action se déroule entièrement dans un énorme centre commercial. 6teen nous montre la vie de 6 amis de seize ans qui sont confrontés aux difficultés des premiers petits boulots à temps partiel et de l’adolescence. 6teen ne parle que d’événements importants : les premières fois. Leur premier flirt, leur premier emploi, leur premier compte en banque et surtout la première fois où ils ont éprouvé ce sentiment de liberté… mais ces premières fois ne sont pas toutes des succès. Toutes les situations « les plus embarrassantes » de la vie de ces adolescents seront explorées… mais nos 6 amis apprendront de ces expériences qu’ils peuvent compter les uns sur les autres.

I was looking forward to a complete season release of this show, after receiving it I was disappointed to discover this isn't it.As the back of the DVD box says its only 13 of the 26 episodes that aired in the first season. They aren't even in proper order. You end up with continuity errors in the set as well. In some episodes characters will reference things that happened in a past episode (but that episode is missing from the DVD set). I would suggest holding off on buying this until Teletoon and Nelvana release a proper full season box set...I thought thats what Complete first season was supposed to mean.

Great Buy - Not Entire First Season!,

So I purchased this not too long ago because I've been a fan of the show for quite awhile. I was so happy to see that it was on DVD! Although the quantities are VERY limited, I was happy to see that it was reasonably priced. Most copies are in Canada so I had to go through the Amazon.CA site for the other 2 seasons that have been released.The only thing I didn't like about this DVD is that it isn't the complete first season - no, this is not Amazon's fault. Teletoon decided to break up the DVD's so really this is the first half of the first season, not the ENTIRE first season. The other half is on a Bonus DVD called ''6TEEN: Yearbook Edition.'' You can find the second half here on Amazon as well. |
