This album could not have come out at a better time, for me anyways. I read in the liner notes that he was going through a separation from his wife at the time he wrote most of these songs, and then when they got back together, he changed some of the lyrics.

At this point in my life, I am going through a separation, brought on by my husband, and the songs touch my heart and have so much feeling in them, hardly a day goes by when I don't listen to this C.D., and feel the pain. But it helps.

I have all 3 of his C.D.'s and thoroughly enjoy them all!

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome cd, July 19 2004
This review is from: 72 and Sunny (Audio CD)
okay, this cd rocks. if you like classic rock & beach music then this album is for you. it sound kind of classic-y and it is slow and calm like the beachy genre of music. its the best; if you dont agree; you have lost your mind!! haha. i am in love with the old doo-woppy sound and the down home beat. its sooo good. i like 'please come home' alot. if you havnt bought this cd yet, you really need to... it will be the best purchase you'll ever make.
