Time travel, ghosts, humor, romance. This is her forte and she puts it together in one delicious package. I stayed up until 3am (much to the delight of my son who gave me this book as a Christmas present), just so I could finish it. I have NEVER done that before this novel. This is one to keep on your shelves, and for those who didn't notice the fine print...she is working on another one.

This book is definately a must read for any historical romance fan, especially if you love Lynn Kurland. I have been eating up her books, and can't get enough. This book started out a bit slow, but it is anything but.

This was the first Kurland book I'd ever read and picked it up on a whim at the grocery check-out line. It sat on my nightstand for a month before my husband took our one year old on a day trip ... leaving me alone with "A Garden in the Rain". By the time my husband and little girl got home that night, I felt like I had been on a two-week rejuvenating vacation. The book had it all and was a blast to dive into!
