Book Description

Shelley Browning is finally getting her life together. At 26, she's survived a failed marriage and is going back to school to finish her degree. Except history is about to repeat itself. During her first day on campus, Shelley finds herself in the class of Grant Chapman, her former government teacher, and the man whose kiss still burns in her memory from when she was 16. Certain he won't remember her she keeps her distance, until one day he insists they meet for coffee. Shelley finds him to be as brilliant as ever, and the chemistry between them unchanged. But the sacred law of the university prohibits the kind of relationship they are longing for. If they break it, they risk all they've both worked for; if they don't, they risk never knowing what could be.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stupidest book I've read in a long time!, July 11 2004
This review is from: A Kiss Remembered (Hardcover)
I have enjoyed Sandra Brown books in the past but this one is awful! I wish I could give it 0 stars. The plot is lame, the main character is a limp dishrag, and the dialogue is painful to read. No real life people act the way these characters do. The scenario is so dated--any university instructor who acts like Grant would be up on charges of sexual harrassment and deservedly so.

1.0 out of 5 stars Farthest thing from a "classic love story", Jun 15 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: A Kiss Remembered (Hardcover)
I totaly agree with previous reviewer. Not enough plot, too many unrealistic bedroom scenes, poor dialog. I also found the male character ignoring the female saying NO troubling too. Not a good way to portray this type of situation at all.
This is the first book I've read by Sandra Brown and I am not impressed. I have no idea why a publishing company would re-release this 20 year old story. It is a waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Kiss Remembered, Mar 11 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: A Kiss Remembered (Hardcover)
Throughout the novel, you are kept interested in what is going to happen next. The main characters Grant Chapman and Shelley are in love with each other. Shelly has been in love with Grant for years. For so many years, it has been Shelley loving Grant and not the other way around. Now, the tables have turned. Mr. Chapman is falling in love with Shelly, his current college student. Grant invited Shelley to go out with him to a popular place where many of his college students would be. It was then that she decided that she no longer wanted to be seen with him in public. Will she continue to fall in love or will she forget?
