I must admit that I am not fond of fighting games, but every once in a while, I like renting them with friends and just have a ball. We rented this game last week and had a horrible time: it is boring and poorly done. The moves are barely understandeable, not precise and the sequencing is tough to replicate. Most of the time, I just sat there wondering why the heck the same sequence of buttons did not do the moves I expected and why my toon was doing what it was doing on screen. Needless to say, I do not recommend this game to anyone. Mario Melee is a much better pick.

I really enjoy playing this game with my friends. It is not so much fun to play alone, but it is better and more fun if you like the movies. The graphics are okay and the characters are cool. It follows the story line well. I like the items you can attack with, I like smashing OR crashing. I especially like to smash n' crash. The only downside is when it freezes and the lack of control you have over SOME of the characters. I like Puss in Boots because he is a cat but is hard to control. Fiona has onion breath so be warned. And all the characters will at some period of time fart out gas and it is horrendous. Prince Charming won't stop laughing.
