I dont really care for action adventure games, but this one is un-freakin' believable. Talk about depth...you literally have the entire city of NY to swing around in. I thought, "yeah big deal" until I started swinging around. Wow...what an awesome gaming experience! The city is so enormous that I actually find myself getting lost quite often, as I dont know NYC all that well. There are so many missions and sub-missions that you can play this for hours and still have alot to do. Or, you can choose not to do any of them and just go sightseeing (guilty!). The comparison to Grand Theft Auto is pretty accurate, in that you can go anywhere and do anything, and interact without mostly anyone. You can even go inside some of the buildings. At first I was a bit put off by the graphics. They are a step down from the previous version, but once you get into the gameplay you realize that they had to sacrifce it in order to acheive the depth of this game. The swinging physics are incredible...unlike the first game where you pretty much can swing anywhere, in this one if there's nothing to sling on to, guess what? You aint swinging no where! No more slinging onto the clouds from the top of the highest skyscrapers. Fighting style is about the same though...just keep jamming on the buttons and you'll knock most of the bad guys out easily. The cut-scenes are cheesy and loosley based on the movie, but you can skip them by pressing the A button. Overall, there's not too many games I buy at full price like this, but this one is definitely worth it and then some. Addictive, enormous, and FUN!
