Best Classic Movie Guide....EVER!!!,

I received this guide as a hand me down from my Grandparents and I could not be more pleased with it. Being an avid classic films fan I love to have a way to mark off the ones I have seen. This book pretty much covers them all. There are a few movies I've seen that aren't listed in here but it covers a big bulk of them. What's especially nice is in the back of the book it has the filmographies of major actors and directors so if you have a favorite classic actor/director you have an easy way of finding all their films with just a flip of the page. It also contains lists from AFI and British Film Institute. I honestly don't know what I'd do without this book and am so glad that it fell into my lap and I really hope they come out with a new version soon *given the introduction of blu-ray onto the market*. If you love classic films and watch them on a regular basis definitely by this book!!!

My husband bought this book for me years ago for Christmas, I think. However, that was back in the good old days when AMC really stood for American Movie Classics (I miss it sooooo much - but that's another story.). I use this book as my own library checklist for movies I have added to my own video/DVD library. I just check 'em off as I acquire my classics! I love this book - it also makes a great read.
