It's not blazing fast prosessor BUT the screen is awsome sweet! I love the windows starter. A beautiful netbook which has NO PROBLEM conecting anywhere I tried. Solid build, I'd recomend this to anyone buying a netbook.

ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE-MU17-WT 10.1-Inch White Netbook - Up to 11 Hours of Battery LifeI've had it for about a month and so far so good, this little thing delivers. Pros: the screen is very bright and glossy finish is beautiful. The battery life is amazing, I regularly get 5 hours or so watching videos on fullscreen with low power settings, while around 7 to 8 hours surfing the Web. The Atom N450 processor works like a charm and the computer doesn't get hot at all, which is great. The weight is also splendid, perfect to carry around effortlessly. Webcam is ok, nothing fancy there & the keyboard is very responsive and you do not need to adapt to it at all thanks to the great design. Cons: As for the small drawbacks, the touchpad isn't great. Your fingers can easily slip off of it but you get used to it. The 1 big touchpad button instead of 2 isn't great either & a bit hard to click, so there is room for improvement. The stereo output, coming from under the front end sounds good as it's on a flat surface, otherwise it can sometime sound uneven. Other comments: I can't comment on Windows 7 Starter as I installed Windows 7 Ultimate right out of the box which is running perfectly. The 1GB memory seems perfectly fine, although you can somewhat notice that 2GB wouldn't hurt either. Also, I bought the white edition and it looks very good, doesn't look toyish at all. Conclusion: The value for the money here is simply amazing, if you're looking for a netbook, you have to consider the EEE seriously. This is without a doubt, the most well rounded of its class available on the market today.

The Operating System: Windows 7 Starter is terrible. I wouldn't suggest buying this if you're not willing to either switch to Linux or pay to upgrade to proper Windows.Video/Sound: Video is a little slow with youtube, but surprisingly not with TV quality avi files I have (using VLC- other programs skip a bit). The screen doesn't look good if you get a bit far away from that magic angle, and is definitely on the blue side when compared with my iMac. But neither of these things bother me. The speakers aren't very good and are on the bottom, I recommend headphones or external speakers. Webcam isn't especially good, but it does the trick. Battery: I've never gotten the 11 hours, but then again, I run 5 or so programs, maximize screen brightness and listen to music at full volume. So it's quite impressive that I get probably 5 hours out of it (more like 7 if there's no music) The Computer Itself: at first I wasn't a fan of the nearly invisible touchpad, but it's grown on me. Different than what I am used to but nice in its own way. The computer is nice and light, feels rather solid, and stays fairly cool. The function keys had a lot of strange functions that I don't use (instead of something I do, eg: multimedia keys) but those are easy enough to reprogram if you take a few minutes to look it up (**with Ubuntu installed**, I didn't check with Win7Starter). Every surface is extremely fingerprint prone. Of course if you are looking for something really fast with a giant screen this isn't going to suit your needs, but I'm assuming you can all read the specs. Great for taking to class for notetaking and organization (for those of us that can't read our own writing), internet use, ebook reading, simple games, things like that.
