I bought this monitor for my ps3. The hdmi works very well, thought the sound is a bit shallow (since its buitt in stereo, I did not expect to have extraordinary performance). Also very nice price for a 21.5' monitor with hdmi input

I absolutely wanted to love this product. I bought it based upon amazing reviews on amazon and other sites, plugged it into my desktop's vga port and admired the blurry screen.
My first thought: What is going on?! It had done the auto adjust thing, I had set the pc to 1080p and everything, but it seemed like part of the screen was out of focus. This weird focus effect was a line about an inch wide, spaced an inch apart to be exact. Well, diving through the menus I found some focus related stuff and after about thirty minutes of frustration it was finally working and very sharp. This would not have been easy if I wasn't fairly tech savvy. The menus are terrible.
Next, I noticed something else a bit off. It seemed like white patches had horizontal lines through them, which stretched the entire length of the screen... I went out and bought an HDMI cable to test this with multiple inputs and same thing. After it warms up they sorta go away (or my eyes just get used to looking at the effect). It's something fairly dim that many people probably wouldn't notice, and only from a certain angle, but it's definitely there. I notice it most after looking at the display on my laptop (720p). Also the pixels in the dark areas appear to "dance" a bit. Dancing pixels isn't normal. It doesn't happen on any other LCD screens I own, and it happens with both computers I tested on this screen.
