Received the product on time.The packaging is protective. The accessorial bag and mouse are exquisite. The mouse USB receiver, which I could not find at first, was put inside the mouse surprisingly. I would like it better if I could customized the hardwares, but it's very close to my most expectation.

This is one amazing laptop. I thought it was Christmas because it came with so much stuff! 1.5TB of hard drive space, 3-d capable, quad core i7 intel chips, a wireless mouse, and A NICE LEATHER LAPTOP BAG. My wife bought me this notebook as an all inclusive present for the year. I had been looking at the ASUS Lamborghini series ever since the VX2s were out. This one is hands down more about being a complete package rather than just tying in a marketing deal.The original VXs were merely "badge engineered" if we're still talking in car lingo. The VX7SX really does pull out all the stops in style and performance. The build quality is up to the usual ASUS standards and the machine is different enough from the G53SX on which this is based that you would want it over the G53. It looks better and I prefer the glossy lid and leather palm rests over the matte soft touch material of the G53. I've had matte laptops before (mainly the old IBM Thinkpads) and they don't look so hot after some heavy use. I've built out a G53SX to similar specs to the VX7SX and it comes in about the same price, depending on if you have your reseller build it or you upgrade it yourself. Taking the G53SX for example, adding in a second HDD, max out ram, and upgrade the OS to Ultimate and you're still left with wanting the 1 additional GB on the video card and the Blu Ray capabilities albeit at about a $200 difference. This machine has met my needs 100% and it is special enough to stand out in a crowd of Dells, HPs, and Apples. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

What is a guy to do? I recently bought a notebook. A very fancy Asus Lamborghini VX7 notebook. I bought it through Amazon - well, that's who I placed the order with, but I'm sure it went through many hands before I got it. After about three weeks the chrome fell off the Asus logo on the lid, and it failed to charge. I called Amazon - they told me to call Asus. I spoke to Asus support, but after a few calls and some false promises, I was told to return it; at their expense, to California. The weeks went by and despite talking to various call centers throughout the world, I could not get any information about my Lamborghini VX7. I went back to Amazon. They told me that I could have returned it to them for replacement - but now it was too late. Thanks Amazon. Finally I received my VX7 back. That is precisely what I received back. I did not receive back the beautiful wooden box the notebook came in, or the felt sleeve that was part of the order. Having regard to the bold warning from Asus that they would not be responsible for any damage in transit from Florida to California, I returned it in the protective box and sleeve that they used to send it to me. Silly me. What a dumb thing to do. For my stupidity, Asus punished me by keeping by good box and sleeve. I complained to Asus, and they reminded me how stupid I was to send back the notebook in a protective box - but they would file my complaint. The moral of the story is, that if you are in the market for a notebook you might like to avoid Amazon generally, and Asus in particular. But if you are tempted by the shiny black paint and the Lamborghini badge, then remember, the protective wooden box must not get anywhere near Asus as they will gobble it up like a butcher's dog.
