The main character is Sydney Bristow, an active field agent for the CIA specializing in infiltration and data retrieval. Young. Female. Deadly. When CIA agent Sydney Bristow is called in to work on her day off she knows there must be something serious going down. The order has come from the CIA's best mind--her father, Jack Bristow.
A fellow operative, Agent Jacobs, has gone missing in suspicious circumstances. His last communique to the CIA contained highly sensitive intelligence regarding Sydney's arch nemesis, Anna Espinosa, formerly a top agent for a rival agency, now gone rogue. The trail starts in a Monte Carlo casino, Jacobs' last known location, but Sydney is soon in a global race against time through Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, and beyond. If that weren't enough, it seems Anna has teamed up with both the formidable and sinister talents of Mr. Sark and Arvin Sloane--but why, and for what purpose? How are the "Followers of Rambaldi" involved? And what is "The Machine"?
Game features include multiple ways to complete levels and objectives, an intriguing, twisting plot crafted by the writers of the "Alias" television series, and close ties to the TV show using official script writers, costumes, and voices.

i recieved an advance copy and I'm so in love! Sydney looks so much like the the real Jennifer Garner and also has her unmistakable voice making it feel personal when enemies start attacking. You have to fight the urge to be careful with her- she's stunning but she has all the moves and you have to sorta think (not such a bad thing, right?) The action is pretty easy to pick up if you're into it and they make it surprisingly realistic so that you really feel like you've been thrown into the world of Alias...which is the only place I'll ever be. The original cast voices and freaky realism to our fave characters add a great deal of magic. It's easy to see why it took so long to make this game...everything was perfect: the familiar disguises like her Las Vegas outfit and my favorite- her black turtleneck/black jeans we only saw in the pilot episode, the perfection of the colors and pixels, the heartpounding techno music, the amazon-like enemy Anna Espinosa who has vanished from the show since the first season (good to see her), acquiring and using Marshall's zany tech and trying to outsmart Sloane and everyone while watching the time dwindle away made this game hard to beat but it can be done. I was a geek and ditched school & cheerleading practice to play for days determined to win like Sydney naturally would. I just can't get over what you can do as Sydney Bristow in this realm- it's exactly what every fan could ever dream of. THE BEST

This game is like being immersed in an episode of the great Alias tv show. With the show in hiatus until the new season, this game really fills a need for all the excitement and fun of the show. I love the characters, the action, the graphics and thrill of being Sid! This game is a wonderful treat for a fan.

3 stars because of the Characters only,

I rated this game on the Characters and story only. It was very good to look at and the actors playing the characters make it worth checking out, but I thought the camera and gameplaying aspects are horrible if you aren't an experienced gamer. There is some hints, but geez the crazy camera and hard to handle controls had me throwing this game down after about an hour.
