Hey, I love Kid 606's crazy assed gabber as much as you do, but don't knock this album. The first 2 tracks alone and you've got you're moneys worth. As for the ignoramous that's trying to bash "The Kid", by questioning the deservedness of his notability for his live shows, go play on your mac and make some noise like my man here, then your oppinion might count. Get this album.

I think this is my favorite of 606's albums yet. I see some of the reviews differ in their opinions, but his mash-up of 80's, 90's, & this era is nothing short of remarkable. Bringing everyone from Missy Elliot to the Bangles to Radiohead really made my year's favorite club album. If you like heavy beats, or a clever mix of old & new club hits, buy this album. If you want an introspective, dramatic, thought-provoking album about how deep & special we all are, get something else.

not a great album,

while I still have a soft spot in my heart for "the kid" (especially his savage NWA deconstruction of a few years ago), the sad fact is that this album is merely "ok".try another disc or catch him live if you want to find out what all the (somewhat) deserved hype is about. or better yet check out any of the recent tigerbeat6 compilations. good stuff and a great label.
