This is a very first-look commentary... I just received the book so the commentary is based on a first impression, not on the content...

I have the older Flash MX 2004 ActionScript Bible, written by different authors.

At first glance, the new edition seems to go very less further with less examples (I compared the chapters on Array and Object as examples). Some might think it's ok since it's a big book and the other edition could have too much blabla, but I like it when there's an example of everything instead of just saying "here are the options". The chapter on Objects is not even a shadow of the one in the older edition...

Second, the book is printed on a yellowish paper (probably recycled or something like that) like the older edition was... but the quality of the printing is VERY low, so sometimes it's a little bit hard to read... If you have troubles with your eyes, then you might have troubles reading this book and end up with a headaches for too much concentrating after a long period reading...

So, I'll try to post a comment later on the content... but, like I said, at firts glance it's disapointing versus the older version.
