CS5 Aug. 23 2011
By Sally Wagner - Published on Amazon.com
After struggling unsuccessfully to use CS3 with my updated Mac Operating system I finally broke down and ordered the CS5 upgrade. Ouch. Huge dollars. But I'm no longer crashing Adobe Bridge regularly or getting an error message every time I quit PhotoShop. I miss some of the older tools that have disappeared. But technology moves on and so, I guess, must I. Just wish is wasn't so darn pricey.

Adobe CS5.5 UPGRADE DISCS Oct. 9 2011

Though Amazon had the best price out there, I guess you get what you pay for! The discs did not load on either our new MacBookPro or iMac. I contacted Adobe who replaced the discs + expedited shipping for around $44.00. The replacement discs worked without a hitch.
Usefull Adobe upgrade but probably not necessary Feb. 16 2012

I upgraded from Adobe's Creative Suite CS3 due to their planned move to a web-based software subscription delivery system effective sometime this year. I also thought that CS5.5 would be more compatible with Apple's current Lion OSX. While this version works great, I also discovered that CS3 still works just fine with Lion as well, so I probably could have saved the $550 that this cost.
