a book that gives a smattering of information about the various products in Creative Suite 4, but is really just too big to be useful, too hard to find specific information on a task and not general enough to learn how to use the products.

I don't care for the layout of this book. It doesn't separate each program into a separate portion of the book like "Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies" does.

There are TWO Adobe CS4's: the Design Suite and the Production Suite. Premier is part of the CS4 Production Suite. I know this because I have both suites. Ergo, it IS your fault that you purchased the wrong book...
