Scott Kelby cuts through the techno speak and approaches LR4 with straight forward and easy to understand language and does it with humour. Well written and illustrated.

There isn't anything I was looking for that I couldn't find. And just when you figure that you've "figured it out" on any particular feature because you've been there before and you decide that you may as well read up on it, 9 times out of 10 you'll read about a feature or a twist on a feature that Scott Kelby describes and well, you admit to yourself hadn't figured it ALL out .
Also excellent teaching methodology, as detailed as necessary and with humor thrown in to make all the more interesting.

I found this book excellent especially for someone who has very little post editing knowledge. It is very well presented from beginning to end and in a language easy to understand. There are also great tips from the author based on his own photographic experiences. I would recommend this guide book to anyone - from beginner to intermediate learner. For me it's a 'must have' to learn the basics & beyond.........everything I need in one clear, concise and visual guide.

The Ad that says, “Scott Kelby guides you step by step ….” is very true. Being a septuagenarian and one of the “dummies,” the book is like having a private tutor besides you. I once bought a “book for dummies” here in Amazon but it turned out not really for dummies. This Scott Kelby’s book is not for dummies but it turned out to be a great help for dummies. Having this book, I bought again another book by the same author. Thanks a ton for this Scott Kelby’s book.

This is the best book for getting a basic understanding of Lightroom and utilizing the functionality within Lightroom. The book is written for the person that usually doesn't like reading manuals which I am one. For once I am getting my money.s worth out of a product instead of just using the basic functions with the help of Scott.s book. I highly recommend this read.

Like all of Kelby's books this was written in concise and clear language with a dash of humour. Kelby is the guy to beat in Photoshop tutorials and this Lightroom book was the perfect way to get up to speed. The templates in the back for different printing configuration are a nice touch.
