Some people think about writing a book, some start writing a book & never finish...for those who think & write and complete that book, this is a muust read for published authors-otherwise your book will just sit on a shelf or in inventory. There is so much helpful information if you have taken the steps to write & have your book published, this tells you how to market what you had the passion & determnation to write about, if you are an author who wants to share your information you must have this book. As an author of over 20 books, I am still looking for anything that will give me and my books an edge. While most of the books out there offer less than stellar advice, this one is definitely a "game changer" I read this book in its entirely last night and was blown away. The first thing I did this morning was to start implementing the tips that EJ Thornton has in this book. A very remarkable perspective I haven't seen before and one that I'm embracing starting now.

Not to give away the aspects of this book, I'll share a few "light-blub" moments with you. One is in the book description, I know as writers, we all think we know this stuff and we do to a point. But here, she states to not tell the prospective reader what the book is about, rather why they need to read it. You have got to read the this book to get the profound meaning of that statement. No joke, I have already started changing my book descriptions to reflect this way of thinking.

Another aspect that has always bothered me was with the author bio. Here EJ sheds light on how to draft a bio that is captivating and engaging as well as writing a press release too. Some of the tips in this book are so simple but they carry with it a powerful impact. Not only does she share this wisdom with us, she shows how and why it is so important. The story about the literary agent asking questions to a room full of writers will open your eyes to the significance of the why.

This is for me, like I said, a major game changer in how I approach my books in the future. Forget about the cost, it doesn't matter, but does matter is understanding what EJ has here for us, writers. This is a must have for anyone who writes or thinking about it. EJ Thornton's "Advanced Book Marketing" is to writers is what Blake Snyder's "Save the Cat" is to screenwriters.

Thanks EJ for a most excellent book and I will be thanking every month when my royalties come in.

This book is a great tool for marketing. There are many strategies that are tried and true and easy to implement. Advanced Marketing will get you motivated to improve your business through effective methods!

I was pleased to get my hands on an advanced marketing book because I was looking for something a bit different, which didn't only include social media, but which would give me a new perspective on marketing books.

I was mildly shocked by the insights given at the beginning of this book into book marketing. I can see how the techniques work and am curious how I can implement them myself.

My only criticism was that there was a bit of repetition and some things were not as explained as well as I would have liked, but I put the latter down to the fact that this was an `advanced' book marketing guide.

Overall you can clearly see how the author succeeded in publishing, and there is enough evidence to support this. I really enjoyed reading the ideas in this book; it really got me thinking. I would recommend this book to anybody interested in publishing.
