Everything about this release from Warner Studios is a complete disappointment to fans of this wonderful Filmation show. The packaging is the absolute cheapest I've ever seen and the quality of the discs is absolutely terrible. For your money, you'll receive a very cheap cardboard package, one single sided disc and one double sided disc. The discs also sit on top of one another making them extremely hard to remove, increasing the chance of scratching them. I pre-ordered this set from Amazon.ca and when I received it the discs were already full of fingerprints and scratches. I contacted Amazon.ca customer service immediately and they issued a replacement set without hesitation. When the second set arrived it was riddled with deep scratches, more fingerprints and some kind of residue on the discs. I contacted Amazon once again and they told me this was a widespread problem and to send the set back so they could contact Warner Studios about the problem. Next I fired off an email to Warner Studios and no surprise here, I haven't received a reply. Finally I contacted a reputable DVD website and was informed by them that Warner doesn't do the actual DVD replicating, they just put their name on the packaging. Congratulations Warner Studios, once again you have disappointed me with an inferior product bearing your name. When it comes to customer service Warner, you could learn a thing or two from Amazon.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok..... BUT Batmite is a pain., Aug 30 2007

This classic tv series from 1977 would have been good except for the annoying batmite character. He is this zany little bat that is always getting in the way of Batman and Robin. Without him the series would have been a lot more watchable. But, I did still find the episodes pretty well written. Some of my favourite episodes are: The Moonman, Trouble Identity, and Bite Sized. An overall OK series.

iwish i could say i liked this animated TV series from 1977.but i would be lying.i just found it too annoying.the character of Batmite,to me just seems pointless.he doesn't seem to serve any purpose.it may have been for comic relief, but that was lost on me.i also didn't like the fact that the joker seemed to let loose with his maniacal laugh after almost every sentence he uttered.that just got old real quick for me.on a related note,i thought the voice of the joker didn't seem to match the character,at least i didn't see it.Adam West and Burt Ward return from the live action show(about a decade earlier) to voice Batman and Robin.speaking of Robin,in my opinion, they made him too dorky, especially with those green slipper like things on his feet.anyway,if it weren't for these problems, this show would have been alright.this is all just one person's opinion,of course.anyway, for me "The New Adventures of Batman" is a 2/5
