This is the soundtrack to a Conan game, but the composer has thoroughly studied the Poledouris masterpieces and echoes them in many of these selections. No real way to describe it other than sometimes it sounds like Poledouris riffs being played backward or in a minor key. Some tracks have an Asian flavor in keeping with the setting of the game. I enjoyed it immensely.

The extra disk has some little videos from the game set to the music. The artwork is very cool, especially the monsters.

Poledouris fans should check this out, as well as the Conan: Hyperborian Adventures that is similar. It will complete your Conan music collection.
