Product Description

What if you could really feel better as you get older, or age without illness? What could be better than having your doctor tell you that you have the bones of a twenty-year-old, or the heart of a thirty-year-old? Follow the advice in Ageless, and you’ll discover your own internal fountain of youth! In this #1 New York Times bestseller, Suzanne Somers reveals the secrets to a younger, healthier, and sexier you.

Jam-packed with updated information on bioidentical hormone replacement and antiaging, Ageless will change your life forever. Suzanne talks about:

• Antiaging medicine and how it can help work against the environmental assault that is making us sick

• Menopause, which can become an enjoyable passage once the body is in perfect hormonal sync with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy

• Why so many hysterectomies are unnecessary, how birth control pills may have contributed to the rise of them, and how to restore your body to perfect hormonal balance after having one

• The importance of sleep and the healing work that nature does during this time

5.0 out of 5 stars Informative and well written, Feb 24 2010
This book is a classic as is The Sexy Years, Suzanne Sommers talks about healthy menopause. Before I read this book I was confused about what I should be doing. I needed to know what kinds of tests I should have taken for the level of my hormones and how often. She explains beautifully how women feel different on some days and she interviews top notch doctors. This made me feel like I was right there asking the questions. She also explains how some physicians do not give good advice and that is essential to know. It is important for all women to have honest, candid and appropriate advice during their personal journey of menopause. Too many women are given terrible alternatives and the results are diasterous.

I love all of Suzanne's books. She talks like she is a friend who gave the best advice possible about many subjects and straightened out the bioidentical hormone issue totally. My ND, loves her book too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not too bad., Oct 25 2006
No need for a long review here. The main topic of this book is about using bioidentical hormones to replace the one's we lose as we get older. The book is really kind of a collection of interviews from (I guess) notable people in the field. But that's not the entire book. Also included are the author's personal experience on many more anti-aging topics from sleep to using an electrical device on your face to tone up facial muscles to look younger.

The bottom line? A lot of readers will probably discover a lot of helpful tips, such as improve your sleeping habits or make sure you deal with emotional issues that create inner turmoil as the author has. However, to my knowledge, there are no long term studies done yet on people using bioidentical hormones over the long run, so I'm a bit hesitant to jump into things like this just yet. Readers who have difficulty getting motivated to do healthy things (such as eat better or exercise more) might benefit from "The Sixty-Second Motivator."

5.0 out of 5 stars Begin with this book, Sep 26 2007
A better and healthier life, a life of youthful energy comes as a result of embracing natural anti-aging remedies. The author explains why our overly-reliant-on-drugs medicine is inadequate and outdated. In "Ageless" she presents a clear case that drugs will not make us better. Look for alternative sources, read good books on keeping yourself healthy. This book is one of them. Another great title that you may not miss is "Can We Live 150". The new approach to health presented in these books will give you back your lean body, shining hair, and great skin, making sure that you are eating correctly and exercising in moderation.
