About the Author
Robb Kvasnak was born in Washington D.C. At the age of 13, he left home to study in Lausanne, Switzerland. He attended college at the University of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), where he received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology. He continued his studies at the Johann-Wolfgang-von-Goethe Universitat in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where he studied Social Linguistics and Chinese. There, he became the assistant to Dr. Tsiang of the Department of Sinology. Failing health forced him to leave the university. He then worked for Bormann & Gordon, one of Germany's leading market research firms at the time, as the owner's right hand man. After ten years managing a retail business, he returned to the United States and settled in South Florida, where he worked in banking for 4 years. He has written for the New Yorker Staats-Zeitung, Imex, transporte.com and Nordamerikanische Wochenpost. Presently, he works as a professional translator and teacher of foreign languages.

Er besuchte die Universitat in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvanien), wo er ein BA Diplom in Kulturanthropologie erhielt. Er setzte seine Studien auf der Johann-Wolfgang-von-Goethe-Universitat in Frankfurt am Main fort, wo er Soziolinguistik und Chinesisch las. Er wurde Hilfswissenschaftler unter Herrn Dr. Prof. Tsiang im Fachbereich Sinologie. Als Amerikaner bekam er kein Stipendium von der Bundesrepublik, und musste auch Nebenjobs nachgehen. Dabei versagte seine Gesundheit, und er musste die Universitat verlassen. Er arbeitete dann bei der Fa. Bormann & Gordon, zu der Zeit einer der Spitzenfirmen der deutschen Marktforschung als Assistent zum Inhaber, Herrn Rolf Bormann. Nach 10 Jahren in der Verwaltung eines Einzelhandelsunternehmens in Deutschland kehrte er nach Amerika zuruck und liess sich in Miami Beach nieder, wo er auch 4 Jahre lang als Bankkaufmann arbeitete. Er hat schon fur die New Yorker Staats-Zeitung, Imex, transporte.com und die Nordamerikansiche Wochenpost geschrieben. Hauptberuflich arbeitet er in Sud-Florida als ubersetzer und Fremdsprachenlehrer.

Robb's book is a great way to show you how to learn a foreign language and if you are really intersted in learning another language buy this book, because it is going to be a great help for you and will give you tips and guidance how to learn more efficiently. I read it and I found it a wonderful help for myself in learning German. Mr. Kvasnak is a great linguist and a knowledgeable foreign language teacher. Buy it and you will love it!
