5.0 out of 5 stars Great! Sept. 6 2005
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This was a first Arabic album and I loved this! Nancy Ajram is gorgeous, talented, and altogether a great person! Let me break down each song for you:

1. Meh Fish Haga Fibi Keda: great fun song with Nancy in a girlish arab setting, good to dance to.

2. Raddalla Aaleyk: Almost moroccan sounding-- cool to listen to and is good for belly dancing.

3: Meh Fiyi Aayish Il'a Ma'ak: Lebanese and FUN! GREAT to dance to!

4. Eh Oul Tani Keda Mih: Really cool and western.

5. Ta'al Ya (Bin Salalah): Nice beats and easy listening.

6: Sana Wara Sana Wara: Nice rhythym and funky!

7. Inta Eih: Emotional and the vocals by Nancy are incredible!

8. Gayeen You Oulouli: This is a nice song with a great rhythm

9: Ana Leyh: Upbeat and snazzy

10: Hobbak Liya: Easy to listen to with a classic jazz tune

11: L'a L'a L'a Teloum: You're so sad the CD's over, good ending though

Buy this, you'll not regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nancy Ajram, the Queen of Arabic Music Nov. 6 2005
By sarah fram - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Nancy Ajram, an Arabic singer, was born in 1983. She was conceived and raised in the city of Beirut in the country Lebanon in the Middle East. At the age of 16, this young unnoticed star finally became recognized at a singing contest that she won. She sang a song by Om Kalthoum (the legendary Egyptian Queen of Arabic music) on Future TV, and she won. This contest started her growing popularity and resulting fame in the Arab world today. Nancy has compiled four music albums (cds), with Ah W Noss being her most recent one made in the year 2004. The magazine called Zahrat el Khalij chose Nancy as the best Arab singer of the years 2003 and 2004. Ah W Noss is the album that sparked the most popularity for Nancy and made her the number one female recording artist of the Middle East. The latest album (Ah W Noss) is the best of Nancy's works compared to her older ones.

Ah W Noss is the longest of all the albums she has. Ah W Noss has eleven songs on it. Ya Salam has nine songs on it. The album Sheel Oyoonak Anni has seven songs, and Mihtagalak has seven songs as well.

Her latest album is the most advertised and most sold among all of her albums. The earliest albums (Sheel Oyoonak Anni and Mihtagalak) did not have enough advertising. The reason for not enough publicity for them is because Nancy's father was her manager for those albums, but more importantly, there were no videos for the songs on those two albums. Also, those were the first albums she had, so when someone has their first album or two composed, they are not well known and loved right away. Although Ya Salam came out to the public with great love and popularity, still, Nancy's famous Ah W Noss album came out to not only the public in the Middle East, but to the majority of Arabs in other parts of the world as well as the best album for her in her career.

The latest album is also great and widely loved for other reasons. For example, all of the songs on this album are fast and give the listeners a fantastic happy energy. For that fact, the songs are great to dance to at many Arabic and even non Arabic celebrations today. The younger people love her playful energy and her own youth-she is only 21 and so famous! She is a gorgeous young girl.

In conclusion, the album Ah W Noss is the best of all of Nancy Ajram's works. Her album is the longest one she has created. Ah W Noss is the most advertised, most sold, and most energetic out of all her other collections. Hopefully, she will continue this success that she has now, and be a great model to future queens of Arabic music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arab dance album March 28 2006
By SociaLChic - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Nice catchy songs and its pure arab pop music. Very upbeat and has not one song that drags.

It's the "Britney Spears" album of arab pop music with a dance beat. I don't understand the lyrics but that doesn't matter because the upbeat rythem and her energetic voice make up for that. So she doesn't stretch her vocals and it won't win album of the year, but all in all its a fun album.

If you're looking for an arab album to blare at your next party, this is the one to get.

I heard about Nancy from a friend of mine who is Lebanese. I instantly LOVED the music even though I have no idea what she's saying!!! If you enjoy music from Shakira, you may enjoy Nancy, she's a grand talent!

4.0 out of 5 stars I Love Her Voice March 10 2010
By R. Hudson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I became acquainted with Nancy Ajram's music when I began studying middle eastern dance. I will probably never perform to any of it as it is Arabic pop and that doesn't interest me for dance but I will continue to buy her CD's because I just love her music that much. The CD does come with a pamphlet that includes translations for the music for those (like me) who don't speak the language. There are also sites online where you can find line for line translations if that is what you want.

Listen to her music and decide for yourself if you like it. I certainly do.

Why 4 stars instead of 5? Because I actually like her Ya Tabtab Wa Dallaa and Ya Salam - Shabet Shaabit (a CD of Childrens music) even more.
