I purchased the following three items from amazon.ca recently to work together:- Airlink101 AWLL5077 Golden 150Mbps Wireless Mini USB 2.0 Adapter Airlink101 AWLL5077 Golden 150Mbps Wireless Mini USB 2.0 Adapter - 2x Western Digital My Passport Essential SE 1 TB USB 3.0/2.0 Ultra Portable External Hard Drive WDBACX0010BBK-NESN (Black) - Western Digital WD TV Live Plus 1080p HD Media Player First connected the WD TV Live using an HDMI cable to my TV. Connected to an existing 500gb external portable HD. Voila, movies and shows. Next I ordered the Wireless adapter and the 1TB WD Drive. Connected the Airlink wireless adapter with the Live and it recognized it and I auto configured to my wireless router. I took some updated for the Live and Voila everything worked well. Next loading up the new WD 1TB and will be good to go.

Good product, bought it for my WDTV Live Western Digital WD TV 1080p HD Media Player, I can stream 720p movie, no hick up. 1080? Sometimes it work, or doesn't work. Could be my router setting, or WDTV...not sure. Was pretty damn easy to install, well almost too easy :P, plug it and that's it!.One downside, sometimes, when I start my WDTV, it won't automatically connect (just a small annoyance really...), could be a WDTV issue, I don't know. Anyway, it does the job extremely well.
