No Words Can Describe,

Well at first I was skeptical at how good these guys were actually gonna be. So finally I listened to this album. This is one of those albums you listen to, and you're not the same after listening to it, it elevates you to a whole new plane of existence, or maybe the right word is spoils you. A lot of people compare these bands with Meshuggah, Dillinger Escape Plan, Red Chord, Despised Icon, but one thing that needs to be kept in mind is these guys do that abrupt, aggressive chunky riffing, and then they turn it right around and sweep you away with great melodies and mellow work. These guys not only tread this territory, but master it as well. If you were gonna list every genre they are in, it would get ridiculous. It's simple, if you like good music, you need to own this.

Between the Buried and Me is a refreshing way of realizing that not all hardcore bands recycle their dialogue and music. They are refreshing, mellow, and awakening in one magnificent splash of musical fantasia. If you are at all hesitant in buying this album, simply get a taste of their music by listening to the song SHEVANEL CUT A FLIP on their self titled debut and you will begin to realize what a fanastic and underrated band this truly is. Their songs are not that of a single on the radio...you will never tire of their sound or their magnificent compositions. This is truly a band of taste and not something that is simply just carrying on a trend.
