Nobody can do comedy/drama's quite the way the British do! An enchanting story. Brilliantly acted.
It's an honest tale of regret and atonement for what went on under war time situations.
The story unfolds as one of three ex-army buddies, now an old man, makes his dying wish. The three of them re-visit Germany.
But it's not that straight forward. There are many obstacles to overcome. David Jason at his best.
Wonderful story, with enough twists and turns and an element of quirkiness to keep your attention throughout.

I always am on the look out for great movies and was delighted to be able to get this one. It arrived in good time and in great shape.

A little disappointing, somewhat confusing about the girl's appearances (like a cameo?) as it seemed that the episodes had been cut a lot, when they were quite important to the story line.
The relationships between the 3 ex-soldiers as they journeyed to the spot from London to where Albert had been shot were well choreographed. The film was just interesting but too short!
