A police procedural with overtones of Alien Nation, Feb 14 1996

A gritty police procedural where half of the cast are aliens who are trying to coexist on earth. The alien detective has the satorial style of Columbo if Columbo had been a six foot talll devil fish. The details are believable. Well worth reading.
