I had heard about Rosie O'Donnell's family cruises for a while, but knew very little about them. One day as I was flipping through the channels, it was on HBO. I decided to watch, and I'm glad that I did. I later purchased it and had a screening with a bunch of my friends I go to college with, who were both gay and straight. They all felt the same way about it as I did.
This is an incredibly moving film about what it means to be gay in this day in age and how beautiful and special gay families are, and how important it is for everyone to have full equal rights. It's a film everyone should see, it will change your views. And don't forget the kleenex, because it's definitely a tear jerker.
