This is mostly regarded as a "Best Of" of Bad Religion's Epitaph years and i think it's an excellent collection. There are other songs which would have been perfect for this collection such as "You" and "Tomorrow" but I do realize Bad Religion have so many great songs it is hard to contain them here. All the great songs are here such as "Generator", "No Direction" , "Sanity", and "Suffer" and a live version of "F**k Armageddon (This Is Hell)". If you are new to Bad Religion I suggest you get this album. then possibly "Stranger Than Fiction", and "Process of Belief" to get the whole BR experience. Bad Religion are so legendary and a nice change from the music on the radio constantly. BR have remained very relevant and till this day have not let me down. You will not regret getting this album. Catchy choruses, insightful lyrics. Bring a dictionary, there will probably be a few words you will have trouble on. All together a perfect album!

All Ages, even though a compliation is just shy of the best punk album of all time beaten by Minor Threat. This album does not show even a hint of complete punk perfection. If this is even possible. Every track on this album makes you wish you were at a Bad Religion show if even just for a second. There ability to play punk and punk as it gets is incredible yet they still have the ability to go off on actual decent solos and great harmonies showing there early punk influences. The cover shows different flyers of bands they have played that shows theyve played with some punk ledgends such as Flipper, Bad Brains, Minutemen, Circle Jerks, Social Distortion, and Exploited. This album just puts toghether all their best songs from 1985 to 1995. It also shows they are fun and cathcy but their true to their punk root because a band like Bad Religion could easily get radio air play however they remain one of the biggest bands to play punk yet not have sold out. This is a must have weather your a fan of hardcore, old punk, pop punk, new punk, whatever this album is a perfect album and you won't regret one song on it.

I strongly encourage you to check this CD out. Punk never used to be my thing. I thought it was a bunch of random noise and it did not initially please me. However, a few weeks ago i was becoming extremely bored with the music i was listening to and with all the CD's in my collection. I casually asked a friend about Punk, and he recommended Bad Religion because he said that it has alot to say and that the vocals are excellent.
All Ages is an awesome album. It contains a great combination of songs from their albums previous to '95. I was very excited to find out that there was melody and intrigue in the lyrics. I had made false assumptions about punk before ever giving it a try. Bad Religion inspires creativity and intellectualism. Each time i listen to the album, i am not merely hearing words; i am listening to the lyrics and continuosly thinking about what they say in relation with my own thoughts about my community.
I recommend this album because it not only discusses our society and the individual, but it also represents what it means to be a punk. Constantly understanding other ideas and points of view is what shapes our own thoughts about the surrounding world and All Ages sparks motivation to think about many issues involving the human race and society. Consequently, the issues discussed urge the listener to think about their own ideas in a positive way.
Additionally, This album has cured my boredom with music. It has inspired me to keep learning about different music and also other punk groups because it has so much creativity and intelligence.
I owe much to my friend Evan for helping me to be interested in punk and to appreciate this album to the extreme.
Definitely check this one out; you wont regret it!
